We’re a month into 2020, and I am still filled with a feeling of gratitude and maybe even shock that last year was as killer as it was. Flipping back through my sessions from last year, this is one that just jumped out of my computer screen and asked to be shared again.
I put a post out last last Spring that I wanted to shoot some breastfeeding mamas and their nurslings. Hannah signed up with her sweet babe, and we set up the most perfect boho sunrise session.
As breastfeeding mama myself, I have a soft spot for these kinds of sessions. This one was particularly special. This journey is unlike any other. A special bond between mama and baby that nobody else will know. So on this quiet morning, as the sun peeked over the mountain, these two snuggled and did their thing.
Moms… breastfeeding is amazing. But you know what else is amazing? The confidence and choice to feed your baby however you want. Formula or breast milk, you are killing it. You are dominating motherhood and it looks good on you. So whatever you do… powdered formula, nursing in public, pumping every bottle, whatever! Do it proudly because your baby loves you regardless. Your baby needs your. Your baby needs your love and your strength.
