Rylan is one of my Class of 2021 Senior Reps. While it was an interesting gig due to the pandemic, she still crushed her photo shoots and created a wonderful image for the WP Senior Brand.
We used a variety of locations, including my studio, and outfits to create a dynamic, versatile collection of Senior images.
I am totally loving these seniors who are willing to literally take the plunge and try new props and techniques with me.
A lot of parents ask me, “When should I book my senior’s session?” My answer… there is no right answer! It’s customary for seniors to have their photos taken in the summer before and fall of their senior years, but there’s no right or wrong. I’ve had seniors rock snowy sessions and spring sessions, too!
Now that sort of answers when to have them done, but not when to book. My answer is as soon as possible, ideally during their junior year. If a time of year/location/terrain is important to you, then you’ll want to book at least 4-6 months in advance (6 if you want fall photos!)
