Kacy + R.K. | Maternity Session
I’ve been super excited for weeks about this maternity session. From the start, Kacy has let me run with my creative vision for her session. As an artist, it’s important to my career to have opportunities to completely plan and execute a photo session. Kacy is an artist herself, so she definitely gets it.
When clients hire me, they know my style. They know what to expect. Even still, I often have them create mood boards on Pinterest where they can add all their favorite examples, outfits, colors, and anything else that speaks to them.
Kacy’s board had lots of warm tones (perfect – can do) and pretty outlooks (done). I knew where I would take her, and the rest was up to the universe.
Firstly, the universe said hell yes and gave us this gorgeous sunset for this maternity session.

I was blown away by the magical fusion of all the elements that made this shoot happen. I cannot wait to meet her sweet girl soon for her newborn session. We plan to recreate a couple of these mountain top shots!
